Water can readily be made available through dispensers throughout Hong Kong. This will have a significant reduce waste. In 2017, close to 50% of beverages sold in plastic bottles was water. To reduce single-use packaging for water consumption, we actively promote the installation of water dispensers designed for refilling bottles, including in public places, offices, hotels, shopping malls, airport and transport facilities such as MTR stations.
